Red Dress Woman was created in the fall of 2025 and was inspired by the changing seasons and how we also go through seasons of change in our own lives. The piece is a Cheyenne woman wearing a red cloth dress, dentalium earrings, a traditional Cheyenne belt drop, and Cheyenne moccasins. Behind her are bright red and orange leaves as she sits and thinks about the changes happening around her and within herself. This piece is currently on display in Oklahoma City in the Chickasaw Nation’s Records and Renderings exhibition, which focuses on traditional Native American art styles and the ways they have been used to tell our stories. Each print is hand-matted and ready to frame or display as is.
