“Star Girl” Art Print, 2025

from $20.00

Print of an original artwork created on authentic 1945 ledger paper using Prismacolor colored pencils and Micron ink. Printed with high quality archival ink on acid free, archival grade photo paper. Stargirl was inspired by our Cheyenne stories of coming from the stars and how we were created from the stars, by the stars. It also plays on the idea that the iron we carry in our blood comes from the stars, giving us another connection back to where we come from. The piece features a young Cheyenne girl in a traditional Cheyenne buckskin dress and moccasins, surrounded by stars and holding a star wand. In 2025, Stargirl was selected as the 19–24 age category winner for the Center for Native American Youth’s Creative Native Art Contest. Each print is hand-matted and ready to frame or display as is.
