“Scissortails” Art Print, 2026

from $20.00

Print of an original artwork created on authentic 1924 ledger paper using Prismacolor colored pencils and Micron ink. Scissortails was created with inspiration from one of my favorite birds, the scissor-tailed flycatcher. Scissortails have always been special to me because of their beauty, smarts, and the importance they hold within Kiowa culture and traditions. They are also a bird we see so much in Oklahoma, a place that many Native people and tribal nations call home today. The bright colors in this piece represent the happiness and good feeling I get whenever I see them out in nature. Each print is hand-matted and ready to frame or display as is.
